try waiting one or more minutes... I also had a problem with the DLLs. If that happens u have to reinstall the game. Inructions for reinstall, First go to Computer "C:/program files/ubisoft/il-2 Sturmovik 1946". Once u r there move all of the following files to the desktop, MODS, files, paintschemes, samples, users, quicks and missions. Then create an icon on your'e desktop called "IL-2 Sturmovik 1946". Put the IL-2 Sturmovik DVD (game disk) in your drive and click uninstall. Uninistall the game and follow the next step. Next click the install button, it should ask u were you want to install it and look for the "IL-2 Sturmovik 1946"
on your desktop. This will install all the files to the 1946 folder on your desktop. Next, once you have installed, get the 4.08m patch from file front and download. Next get the Unified installer and download all of the 4 parts. Once u have done that, delete the files and MODS folder in the 1946 folder, and drag the original MODS and files folder back to your 1946 folder on your desktop and also all the other folders (paintschemes, missions, samples ect.). Once u have done all of these steps run IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 and enjoy!
