Good luck on your Private Pilots License I just hope you don't have the CFI who posted above as I think he didn,t pay attention during the course syllabus on airspeed that statement about flyinf into a 70 knot headwind with an indicated airspeed of 91 Knots and having a TAS of 21 had me on the floor laughing, anyway good luck.
Laughing because you know nothing? How many hours do you have? How many students have you gotten past their 1st solo? And how many times have you conducted ground school instruction for a large university?
I wasn't providing an in depth air speed discussion. Just a general statement to a novice so he might better understand. While I'm trying to help, you write moronic comments trying the belittle a professional flight instructor. Good luck with that! LOL!
My advice to you? Well, like my father always said "Tis better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!"
Airspeed has nothing to do with headwinds where did you get your cfi certification at the five and dime store.
Once again moron, you are wrong! Surprise! Surprise! CFI's are NOT given away at the Five & Dime you earn them thru hard work and lot of class room time and a lot of flying time. Oh, and you have to spend a lot of money too! I pity your ignorance. Now that I've explained how one goes about getting his CFI perhaps you'll move out of mommies basement and join the rest of society and get your CFI! There's a real world out here and it full of "real" people just like me. Don't let that scare you come on out and play!
