Fly is possible add your little flame in night mission (make this flame visible only in night)?????

Are you talking about the engine flame pattern that is visible in flight at night? I too would love to see this detail added to night missions. I have seen aircraft identification cards that included the exhaust flame pattern for Allied & Axis airplanes. This would make it easier to spot the enemy at night. I have seen movies that attempted to add this detail to the drama, and they depicted the engine flame "blinking" in pattern to the firing order of the engine RPM...

I wonder if their was a difference in flame size or brightness if a pilot changed mixture, RPM or fuel, while in combat flight?


PS Sorry about the redundant topics...I do hope someone picks up the idea though.
