Are we talking external-model or internal-cockpit views???

I am talking about both. For the internal view the canopy mesh has to be reworked to make two complementary parts, which is problematic as _Zo says. But the internal mechanism works, I have seen it.

yup... get Bee's P40 mod and you'll have P40 with sliding canopy ( only external) ...
