(directions that work!)

Excellent job, Flipp_Coin! I've been struggling with the Ship Pack for some time, and with your helpful hints above, finally got it working.
I made some adjustments, but it still worked fine. Here's what I did, from the top down for the whole thing. I wanted to keep the "\MODS\Static_Aircraft" folder where it was, so ...
- EXTRACT: Contents of ShipPack2.rar to a working folder.
COPY: FOLDER \ShipPack2\Mods\ShipPack\ to \MODS\. Resulting path: \MODS\ShipPack
FIND FOLDER (IF PRESENT): \MODS\Static_Aircraft\
BACKUP FOLDER: \MODS\Static_Aircraft\
IF "FIND" DIRECTION ABOVE IS PRESENT (you have "static_aircraft" mod): MOVE FILES (not copy, MOVE): \MODS\Static_Aircraft\com\maddox\il2\objects\ 'stationary.ini' and 'static.ini' to \MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects
DELETE SUB-FOLDERS WITHIN: \MODS\Static_Aircraft\
LEAVE IN PLACE, ALL FILES WITHIN \MODS\Static_Aircraft\ (all those hashed files with the meaningless names). Should be nothing but those hashed files left, no sub-folders.
EDIT FILE (With a text editor): \MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects\stationary.ini, adding the content from \ShipPack2\AddTo Ini\ 'stationary.ini.txt' to the bottom of the original file. Save edited file.
COPY FILE (IF NOT PRESENT IN DESTINATION FOLDER): \ShipPack2\Mods\STD\i18n\Technics.properties to \MODS\STD\i18n\- IF PRESENT IN DESTINATION FOLDER: BACKUP original, then edit file with content from \ShipPack2\AddTo Ini\Technics.properties.txt
COPY FILE (IF NOT PRESENT IN DESTINATION FOLDER): \ShipPack2\Mods\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects\chief.ini to \MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects\- IF PRESENT IN DESTINATION FOLDER: BACKUP original, then edit file with content from \ShipPack2\AddTo Ini\Chief.ini.txt
COPY FILE (IF NOT PRESENT IN DESTINATION FOLDER): \ShipPack2\Mods\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects\ships.ini to \MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects\- IF PRESENT IN DESTINATION FOLDER: BACKUP original, then edit file with content from \ShipPack2\AddTo Ini\Ships.ini.txt
All worked as advertised, allowing me to add custom ships via FMB. Even used the Graf Zeppelin in a mission... Screenshots:
