I've been trying to use the 'remove white' or transparency filters in both Paintshop Pro and Adobe Photoshop, but without success.
I've downloaded Macks whiteremove filter and installed it in the appropriate folder for both PSP and PS, but I can never get it to work.
When I try it in PSP (my preferred editor) I always get a message that the filter is not installed properly - which of course it is. I've put it in a number of different plug-in directories and always get the same error message.
In PS, the filter doesn't even show up in the list of filters to choose from.
So my question is, to those in the know or with more experience - obviously I'm doing something (basically) wrong, but I can't figure out what. Is there anything I should be aware of with this filter?
