Hi Stargazer, I have created a single mission using ther Italy map and it saves okay, and I have the latest mod activator/ac installer.
I hope then that the new Canon map will solve my problem.
BTW my single mission was based on the book Mustang ace by Robert Goebels ( great book ) and is just a simple escort of B24's to the Polesti oil fields. It was just a play about with the FMB, but I may tweak it and perhaps see what you think. If it's any good I may do a series of them, although to be honest it is pretty much all escort duties...

Escort missions can be fun providing there are frequent intercepts to and from the target area. High altitude provides another set of dynamics to contend with regarding how to manage the flight characteristics of your bird. Doesn't take long to stall out and the battle usually descends quickly - makes for a challenging time to climb back up onto station with the bombers.
