Nowhere does it say that mods can't be non-historical.

A good example of historical necessity would be the addition of mirrors for aircraft that don't have one, no proof = no mod. I for one have never seen a mod hosted on AAA that is such a bastardisation of WWII history.

But of you actually find a modder who is willing to add tail hooks to existing aircraft that has no historical basis - I'll eat my hat (and its a really big hat)
