and must i reply is that pci-e isnt nessesary pci-e as it comes in the older pci-e v1(version) and now the newer pci-e v2 that less hard on the power and also has double the bandwith.
So buying a 8800 gt card thats optimized for pci-e v2 and having pci-e v1 on your motherboard isnt good. it will work but only with half the bandwith.
It also dependes if you have a own cord for the power on the 8800gt card and newer.(it has its own seperat power connection)
So for the psu you are looking at least 500-600w.
