downloaded mod, installed, played quick mission as gunner on B17. When there is a few planes on fire and such the frame rates drop to 5 or less. This never happened before. Also if plane is burning on the runway the fr drops. The smoke looks much to thick and could be causing this.

My question and suggestion to you would be :
1. Did you have read at least a little bit through this topic about black smoke ?
2. There should have been only one mod at the beginning and I did 4 mods upon requests to be pleasing as much as I can but I just can't please everybody , can I ?
3. Which mod you're using ? Mod#3 with original 3rdeye black smoke and crashed plane parts issue ?
4. Did you were watching video in the first post ? " SHOULD WE BE DOING A LOT LESS SMOKE EFFECTS ? guess what , a lot of folks are playing with the thickiest black smoke from Mod#3 or with original 3rdeye's FireSmokeContrail mod from his topic.
5. Still , you think my smoother black smoke in Mod#1 ands Mod#2 is way too much for your machine ?.
6. What machine do you have ?
7. There was almost out cry to remove thick black smoke , do you know that ?
8. Don't want black smoke ? yet preserving a good FPS ? get latest Fly!'s smoke fire mod .
9. I gave up :lol:

I am sorry for my rant , it's not to be ment in any bad way , I am just wondering as to what to do ?
