USAAF 1946 YP-84A
#1

I heard that people were making a P-80A 5-LO, a P-51H, and a P-47N. I was thinking that the service testing version of the Thunderjet would be a great addition to the game. Afterall, it had a top speed of 550mph @ 30000ft. This model was armed, had provisions for two wingtip 226 gallon tanks, and was natural metal. In testing against the P-80, it was found that the P-80 had better low altitude manuverbility and climb but the P-84 bested in in speed, high altitude performance, and range. The testing began on this plane in 1946. If we already have a Mig 9 and a Me 262 HG, why not the World's Fastest Tricycle. Besides, it fits into the era a whole lot better than the F-86. If someone could build this it would be greatly appreciated. Big Grin
