Hello! Great purchase! I'd be lost without mine now. I'm no expert but just a couple of things I can think of if you haven't played with it much yet and you don't have any specific questions:
- Don't have your back to a door, window, mirror or anything bright or shiney if you can help it - nothing worse than being in a fierce dogfight, your Trackir picks up on light behind you and suddenly you're staring at your seat and can't look up! hock:
- Don't sit too far away, closer you are the more responsive and less likely it will pick up on other objects in the room
- If you're having trouble looking back over your shoulder (in the game) play with the position and angles of the Trackir sitting on your monitor (mine for example is on the right hand side angled to my left where the pro clip is on my headset)
- The more you use it and fiddle with the settings to your liking the more natural it will feel
