its all good but no sound

Meaning what? was the conf.ini helpful? or was the problem something else? I assume it is in the game there is no sound? or just no music? because I had turned the music off - which would probably be in the conf.ini. If you want help you should be a little more descriptive - it would help you.

You might try lookig in il2setup.exe at the sound tab and playing with the settings. Or if not reinstalling the game, it would only take half an hour.
