It is possible to switch speeed bar between meters|kmph|deg -> feet|knots|deg -> feet|mph|deg -> turned off but as I understand the accuracy of american bombsight is too lower than russian/german/japan
Let me explain:
The step of the american bombsight height is 50 feet(15 meters) - the others only 10 meters
The step of the american bombsight speed is 10 mph(16kmph) - the others only 10 kmph
So to perform an acurate bombs drop you have to fly very close to table given data
And also the step of altimeter indicator on the speed bar is 50 feet and if the fly at 349 feet it wil show us only 300 - so the mistake near 15 meters - and it is fatal for extremely accurate droppings e.g. to kill a single tank from the 5'000 meters altitude and the height of the tank is about 243 meters ober the sea level.
