For the moment, the Bendix is more accurate if you consider the production run. The Bendix turret was replaced by a Sperry ball turret starting with the 113th B-17E built, out of a total of 512 B-17Es built by Boeing in 1941 and 1942. So a Sperry ball turret was more common by 286 B17Es (399 Vs 113 of 512.)

Actually, the remote turret on B-17Es was made by Sperry. Bendix made the remote turrets used on B-25s. The key difference is that the Bendix had the sight inside the turret while the Sperry's was in a separate blister.
