Guys,
I'm posting here as i've exhausted every avenue on the web, from registry tweaks to uninstalling/installing codecs, updating my soundcard drivers, trying different media players (WMP11/Real/Winamp..) but I have this horrible problem with the sound when playing back media files either from disc or direct from my pc - it appears to be just .wmv files as all my system sounds are ok and some files do playback normally. IL2 is fine BTW!
I keep getting garbled/crackly/as if its in a bathtub, sound when playing these files - almost like the chipmunks and totally unintelligible - they all used to play fine up to 2 days ago ?? Have I been trojaned ?? AVG hasnt reported anything?
I'm at a total loss to rectify this - can anyone help ??
