Nothing to do with the Harvard/Texan. Very different aircraft.
I believe it was developed from the Whirraway and its lineage is the NA-16 or Texan or Harvard.
Yes and No. It was developed from the Wirraway (though about all they kept was the tail section and the wing centre section + u/c) but the Wirraway wasn't developed from the Harvard. It was developed from an aircraft that was later developed into the Harvard. So the Wirraway and the Harvard are cousins, but one isn't developed from the other. Thats a bit like saying the Sea Fury was developed from the TA 152 (although that may be stretching the point)
