Air.ini is in your MODS/STD/com/maddox/il2/objects folder.

Well the problem is I got my IL2 1946 off of STEAM downloads, so the files are a little different when I downloaded the game. It never came with a MODS folder, so no STD folder. I had to make it myself.

So now I'm wondering if anyone knows where else I can find the AIR.INI file in my IL2 Directory?

Um... Do you have Eng_Sound_Mod and wrapper.dll installed?

Ok, now check in the 'Files' folder in your main Il2 directory, then 'com' and so on. Just look after in main directory. If it's not there- my knowledge ends.
