Hey siccmade. The only thing that has caused this problem for me is having my resolution set incorrectly. It might be worth changing it in the il2setup.exe in the IL2 directory to default 1024x768. Most problems with your installation relating to mods etc. will cause the game to crash at certain percentages.

Alternatively there may be some kind of problem in the conf.ini, if you send me your email I can send you my conf.ini or someone else in the squad could do the same?
