that thread you posted talks a lot about KG200 using the 190 for the torpedo role. i had read that from other sources as well. in fact its the only unit i can find that even employed the torpedo 190. KG200 was kind of a "test" unit, that did a little bit of everything. I read they even used captured B17s for recon missions.
