If it's a case of pure survival, my advice: get down to the deck and side-slip like hell :lol:
As others have pointed out, a combination of rudder and dive-break will give you a very tight turn, and pursuing fighters will over-shoot you. These manouvers enabled me to evade pursuing Spitfires and make it back to France (In a B-2), although I did have a lot of holes and a wounded rear gunner.
