Might I inquire, is there some way to disable the fire and sparks while retaining everything else about the mod? I'm not to keen on the fiery explosion because I've never seen footage where that was how flak exploded.

Seconded. Anti-Air Artillery/Flugabwehrkanone is designed for maximum vertical range while inflicting the most damage possible; this means that each shell contains only the minimum amount of powder to propel the shrapnel at a damaging velocity; i.e. it's much like a hand grenade in principle - extremely dangerous, but not a flashy, fiery explosion, more of a burst effect.
