Has anyone been able to use their G25's gas and clutch pedal successfully as a rudder in IL2?
The way to do it apparently is to use Glovepie and PPJoy to create a virtual joystick with a single axis using the gas pedal and clutch pedal (similar to combined axis option for gas+brake in control panel/game controller option for G25) and then it should be picked up when you assign the rudder in the HOTAS section of the controls in IL2.
We've been able to get the virtual joystick visible and funtioning correctly in Control Panel/Game Controllers ok, but IL2 is not picking it up when we go to assign the rudder. It only sees the G25 or flightstick as controllers and not the virtual joystick.
I'm trying to help a mate out who's tired of using the twisty stick for rudder, and doesn't have the available readies for a set of pedals yet
Anyone who's got this working successfully who could offer some tips would be mighty helpful.
Thank-you.
Cheers, Neil
