Airbrakes are not "turned on" yet. Neither are the drop tanks..they are not coded to actually supply fuel yet so he left them off. Remember, this is using the FM from the P80 shooting star..it does not have its own FM yet and its performance is nothing near a Sabre.. A Sabre at sea level does 675mph.. you won't be seeing that (In fact the P80 breaks up before that in a dive ) IIRC PeterD had the Airbrakes and was working on the wing slats and there are people working on the FM but its a long process..there are only so many variables you have to play with making FM's and every time you alter something to reach one goal you screw up something else
