Hehe, thanks mate. Good news is that the plane is good to go, the fixes are all in place etc, so I'll be doing the template again. And that begs the question: would you like the metal with only panel lines and no rivets? or just the metal and no panels nor rivets? I think I'll just add all those so you have more options, maybe also a layer with the rivets and panel shadows that you can blend with a paintscheme or something like that.
Regarding the template I've changed the nose (as I said) and it has some minor stretching, but barely noticeable imho. I've redone the panels and rivets in there and also added some more smaller rivets all over the place. Also, I've changed the tail line you suggested, as it doesn't have any conflicts with the tail (doh! *face palm*). For the tail markings and numbering, what I can do is add a warped text template that will come out straight in the aircraft, but I can't think of anything else.
Back to the aircraft, its good to go, but what's even better is that the FM has progressed a lot, so I'll hold it a bit more to release it once the FM is cooked, and meanwhile I'll just add small details and things like that.
