In general, Torrents provide downloads which are clean (no corrupt files) and you might get it much faster than is possible by downloading a bunch of separate parts. Some people get the whole thing in 1 to 3 minutes, but it depends on the weekest link in seed/peer group. The transfer will occur at the speed of the slowest one in the connection (seed to peer relationship).
The Torrent system is certainly much easier for most users in contrast to downloading and testing about 7 download parts for corrupt files.
If download is slow now, then it will eventually be a flood. As a last resort, leave the Torrent connected overnight.
