Is it possible in IL2 to receive damage and have failures like;
- electrical system faillures
- hydraulic faillure
- faillure of specific engine parts other then oil/coolant propcontrol systems, like the super/turbocharger (example from the book "Farewell Mickey Mouse" by Len Deighton).

I was looking at some guncam footage, and noticed that in some occasions, a damaged aircraft suddenly drops it's landing gear.
It made me wonder if such things are even possible with the IL2 engine. But only if it does not involve any illegal DM modifications.
In the original IL2 Sturmovik game I recall to have seen it once, that an AI aircraft dropped it's gear, but that was on relatively low altitude. (but above a forest).
