This was brought up in another thread... the pilot models can be rescaled by opening the plane's hier.him in notepad (.../il 2 sturmovik 1946/MODS/[plane]/3do/plane or thereabouts - NOT in the cockpit folder), finding the line entitled Pilot_D0, and then changing the first number in the group below it (should be a 1 on non-modified hier files) to whatever number. Do the same for Pilot_D1. It has to be done for each plane so it's rather time consuming, though.

If there's a faster way, I haven't heard it. For now that's your solution.
