Yes, it is!
Trust me! It took me a while to figure out how to change the 109E and F gun sounds, because they are controlled by the samples in that folder. So when you replace the old sounds in the 190A-3 folder, it will give you these new sounds for your 7.92mm machine guns on planes like early 109s, Stukas, etc...The self installer is directed properly, unless you're on a 64bit OS, or you have IL-2 installed somewhere besides "Program Files". If you've got a normal IL-2 installation, like 90% of us do, it will hook you up just right! 8)
