well, I'm not the expert that you are looking for, but since no one else has anwsered you yet. I found that you will need a clean ui1.1 install. And when I say clean, I mean just that. I have some plane add ons and some other mods like 6dof, bumpys tex, and holygrails smoke, etc. And all of these things get me timeout 1. Through talking with some people I have leard that most add on mod will not work on any server with cr=2. My biggest problem is the lack of servers allowing 6dof for my trackIR. But in truth you need to go to the serers website and read their instructions because most cr=2 lobbys will still allow tex mods and map mods. But any updated planes will get you kicked. For example I have the 109 k4 v2.?? and I get timed out. Basiclly, in short a clean ui1.1 should give you no problems, but any extra mods you downlload after that defenitly have the potental to get you bumped for the game.
