Yep. After patching it up to 4.08m, make a copy of your installation folder.
Then patch this one up to UI 1.1. That way, you'll have a working "virgin" copy left.
On your 4.08m/UI 1.1 installation, you should then start copying/installing/testing any mods you'd like to have.
After copying/installing every extra mod you want, you should do a test run, to see if it works.
If it doesn't and you haven't made backup copies of the files altered by the mods you want,
revert to step "2", using your "virgin 4.08m" installation.
Getting help around this place is sometimes difficult (at the best), so you better learn to be systematic and help yourself... Sorry I couldn't help you further... :oops:
