I'm not sure if you haven't noticed it, but really there is no space left in the main skin for the pylons, much less for the droptanks

Whilst true, you could sacrifice resolution quality for it.. you have a little space where you put your credits if you make them relatively low res... alternatively you could juggle the dash and that space to increase the res. Just a suggestion... might be better than nothing
