Why? Who else whould have had more to lose. I mean, the Germans wouldn't condone it, but the allies could get problems with desertion, complete formation break-up, or premature return of flight groups.

That's what the Germans wanted to have the allies do. The idea was to scare the bomber crews so badly that they they would refuse to fly for long enough that they could get more Me 262's airborne.

Great idea! for what see in the video, te Bf-109 has doesn't have sight installed. Would it be necessary to remove the aim of the airplane. That serious possible?

Keep in mind that Dogfights from the History Channel is not historically accurate for most things. They do a good job at describing an event, but that's about it. So, it probably had a gun sight installed.
