And if i'm not mistaken Mk.IV's have seen service to the end of the war - not only 1944 - and in some cases even beyond, into 1950's.

As stated above the Canadian built ones were stock hurricanes but powered by Packard built Merlin engines rather than Rolls Royce built merlin engines.There are some differences - not that big - in weight, performance and equipment fitted, as well as some visual differences. There was also a ski equipped Mk.XII version for use in Canadian north.
