Hi,
I have been having some problems with sound on my game. When there's lots of activity the sound suddenly starts cutting in and out, stuttering really. This coincides with a major slowdown of my frames. It sometimes stops if I stop moving around the POV but other times I have to Escape out of the mission.
Didn't happen with my old installation and I'm wondering if it's connected to the fact that the UI1.1 doesn't use the EAX thing. The readme says it's turned off by default.
I want to see if it makes a difference or not, but nowhere can I find the EAx.bat. I did a search of the MODS folder but got nothing (don't worry, I used the correct file name for that).
I'm hoping it's something like this. Otherwise it's hardware. Again.
