Does that mean we get to make requests for our own towns as well Big Grin ? Just kidding. I should be on the map IIRC, at least the nearest airfield should be : St Jacques, South of Rennes, KG40 satellite base in 1944 if memory serves... I live right under the East approach route.

Is Brest on the map ? Can't remember off the top of my head... If it is, there's a small town just 25km North-West of it called Ploudaniel where I grew up. It never was a strategically important place, but the very first RAAF casualties of WWII, Flight Lieutenant John N. Bell, and Sergeant Charles W. Harris, are buried there. They were part of the crew of a Walrus that was sent on a top secret mission to rescue De Gaulle's family on June 18th 1940. The plane crashed for unknown reasons and all on board were killed.
