Definately possible but it would take a huge amount of time and effort, as you would have to make the edit to every single aircraft. Probably with a bit of fancy coding, you could get an alternative alpha layer to appear over the canopy that shows oil and/or bullets. Another option is have a model that appears (much like the Gore) when oil is triggered.
