Porto, I knew I had a reason for suspecting it to be unpaved. P.120 of 'Pearl Harbor' by H.P.Wilmott has an aerial picture taken during the first phase of the attack. Wheeler is definitely a grass runway; only the ramp is concreted. I don't have the means to scan it in atm, but hopefully someone can.
It's still your decision as how to show it though - I'm just happy that you've done so much work on this map already.
