Hurricane Mk1, Sqn/Ldr Caesar Hull, 43 Sqn, 1940;
Hasegawa kit. Ultracast Spitfire DeHaviland spinner (sanded back to reduce diameter), CMK cockpit and other etch parts, added hydraulic lines to undercarraige, dropped radiator and elevators, opened the handgrab under canopy, Moskit exhausts (brilliant!), Squadron canopy with decal for framing, hair for arial wire.
Painted with Iwata HP-B airbrush, Gunze, ModelAir, Pollyscale and Tamiya acrylics. Weathered with Tamiya and MIG pigments.
Trumpeter case, handmade Walnut base with static grass. The miniature 1939-45 Star with Battle of Britain clasp from Duxford shop!
