I have blessedly downloaded and installed 1.1 into a copied folder (that I named IL-2 MOD) of IL-2 1946 updated to 4.08. Inside this folder I have shortcutted the game exe. and the switcher to my desktop and all works well. Now....2 questions: Do I need to download and install 4.09, cause I get the game up with the switch in 4.09b1 mod mode and it appears the maps are working, and I should download and install patch 1.1.1 correct?
I am taking baby steps so as not to futz anything up. I am amazed at the ease of the instalation of mod and it working on my computer no probs...when did that ever happen
