Just make sure your PSU is up to feed the hungry beast
And it can be a bit loud under load, but I got rid of that with the Antec 900 case, has enough fans to keep the air cool thus reducing the GPU fan noise. I have no graphical issues with the 280GTX, just had to fiddle a bit to get rid of the annoying stutter I had.
