Another IL-2 Gun Camera clip

I'll do a Pacific one when I get time. Here's a short test.

Very good ...an improvement as N Lowe said. I think in the first clip, one sees in the IL2 acft/captured video a lot of evidence of the acft (Player acft) nose 'floating' around quite a bit, sharply at times....the dreaded 'Wobble". I think, in-game, this is caused by either joystick quality/use or more likely lack of Trim setting during the attack; it can be difficult at times to keep the pipper smoothly and consistently centered on the target. It sometimes feels odd when flying and looks artificial in captured footage/guncam clip.
The example by MysticPuma which I posted shows a different effect: the 'Player's" nose is relatively stable with regard to the line of attack on the target aircraft, no significant Wobble....the guncam 'movement' is rather caused mostly by shaking of the Players acft (in the post-processiing creation of the guncam clip) rather than drastic fluctuations in the player acft's in-game angle of attack. If that makes sense...

For example, in your first clip, 00:15 through 00:22 one sees the in-game Nose Wobble which seems artificial.
Compare that to 4:02-4:22 in the Mystic puma clipwhere the Player's acft 's nose is tracking smotthly vis-a-vis the target acft.
I note also that in your first clip, your final two tree top strafing attacks are indeed quite smooth...and both come across as very realistic.

The exception to the rule being evident, though, at 4:58-5:0s in MP's clip where Nose wobble is also seen.

All above just food for thought...one person's impression of IL2 guncam clips generally versus real world guncam clips.

I hope you keep up your efforts...as I said, the many new MODs, smoke and bullet/cannon hits, etc (and target aircraft types) may improve realism in future GC clips.
