As each mod came out I installed it (them) and got my game up to V4.091m and have kept every file / download on an external hard drive.
When the new machine gets here I will need to start adding the files / mods to my Pacific Fighters to get "back" but have no idea which comes first and what to do with my files and folders.

Could someone PLEASE post a SIMPLE to understand step-by-step to bring me back from the basic Pacific Fighters install to v4.091m??

I have all the new Korea maps and mods installed but how to do that is (mostly) still in my rusty memory bank.
Getting to the point where it is time to install the new Korea "stuff" is my problem.
I freely admit that "complete install for dummies" should be the topic. I am NOT a computer guru. Just ask any of the guys in my squad.
I sincerely appreciate any assistance you fellas might supply.
Look at the UI update pg here on AAA

and this is the best way to start "Installation Warnings:
1. If you are installing this package over a fresh installation of the IL-2 1946 DVD, you must first patch the game to 4.08m.
2. If you have IL-2 installed, Copy your current IL-2 1946 game folder and rename the new folder. Next, Delete the FILES and MODS folders. The new install will copy 4.08 files allowing any Direct 2 Drive user to be compatible with the mod.
3. If you have the unified installer 1.0, move the folder named FILES and MODS folder from your modded game to another location for safe keeping.
more on that pg to read but I did this for 3 of my installs and the just add the new maps one at a time to get up to what is not in the 1.1.1 UI and the same with all the new aircraft one at a time running the game each time before going on to the next install also remember you do not need to do the AC installer for some of the older aircraft that may show a version in the DL older than 3.8 a lot to be added to the ini files so do go slow and always back up a working copy for safe keeping

just go slow and do read all the readme's
