dorkfish, it's actually 'Shift' and left-click to zoom in, what also works re: assigning targets, if you have already assigned a plane to 'Player', you can just reassign 'Player' to an AC for the opposing side, which will then also allow you to assign targets for the other side.
Just remember to switch your pilot back to the right side afterwards...or do like Kopfdorfer said, and only assign a player aircraft last. :wink:
