Maybe my memory is playing tricks, but I could swear that the original IL-2 back in 2001 kept the camera in first person mode when you baled out? I now play 1946 and it automatically switches to the external view when I bale out, but I'd rather have the camera stay in first person like it used to. Maybe this would be an easy tweak for someone...?
