As I remember it was EAW that had the first person view bail out not the original IL-2, but I'm not sure if it that was a mod or not, certainly made it more realistic though and you stayed in that view all the way down. Strange thing is why it's never used in flight sims generally, they all jump to the third person which looks totally non sim like.
