as for the term japs, i just use it short for japanese, just like Rus would be short for Russian, etc... I don't really think its that bad.

The shortening of the word Japanese IS derogatory and i have heard this from Japanese people, its like the shortening of the word Pakistani. :wink:

right you lot stop it here, your all being a bunch of oversensitive girls, so cut it out, the guy said sorry and changed it, so cool it, as for the term i couldnt give a rats a$$ what people call it each other, its all about context, and the contex this was used was not one of insulting.

Apart from how you dealt with things in the past, nothing has excelled here to the point where your reaction must be this fierce. I am very capable of settling the matter maturely, settled it with a nice response, never even planned to escalate this, and simply didn't know, seeing as how I only stated as how I was taught. Nothing wrong of the exchange of that information here last I checked, mate.
