Just a sidenote. U and P were different planes. Yak-9U was typical Yak mixed construction airframe plus VK-107. Yak-9P was first and only of the -9 family to feature all metal construction (that is all-aluminium wings but fuselage being typical Yak steel framework, just covered with aluminum panels instead of plywood ones) and was not produced until 1947 (772 examples were made until December 1948).
Yak-9U being all-metal plane is only Oleg's fantasy, so effectivley we have post-war Yak-9P in the role of WW2 Yak-9U.
