I hope you have had more luck that I... exactly the same issue, though I'm running Windows 7. Mat manager installed correctly, I make the changes in mat manager - it says its updating IL2 with the changes I've made.. but no effect in-game.

I wanted to give mat manager a try again, but I'm going to stick with Mcwolfs decal shine. The decals look as goods as mat manager, though they aren't customisable.

I might have to go to that, but I have a new symptom. Maybe someone could help me out with what it means ...

Run-time error "70"
Permission Denied

Any ideas on this?
