"It's Impossible" Is the most false statement mankind has ever contrived. The question is: How hard will it be and will it be worth it? Personally I'd love to see these helos for carrier-based operations, delivering supplies, medivac, or insurgents on beachheads at night, while trying not to get shot down or detected, there's a mission.
The primary role for Helos today is gunship support and submarine warfare, they did have homing torpedoes in WWII, but I think those would recquire some advanced coding to make work, not to mention that submarines (hideously) are just ships with a parascope model. Perhaps that can be worked somehow...
But for now, just medivac and gunships.
